Upgrade to 'dog off leash' area at Hercules Street Park, Hamilton

Recently new dog agility equipment has been installed and upgraded at the Hercules Street Park in Hamilton.
The new equipment caters for dogs of all sizes and the upgrade has also seen the installation of a separate fenced section at the entrance with an additional gate to allow a more secure entrance for dog park users.
A number of dog owners in the area had contacted me in regards to this dog off leash area needing an upgrade and i am happy that we could accommodate their suggestions through this year's budget.
Cr McLachlan also advised that he has organised for a park bench within the dog off leash area and he expects this seating to be installed by the end of November.
