Weekend road works Racecourse Road

Brisbane City Council will be conducting road resurfacing works on Sunday 12 February on Racecourse Road, near the intersection of Allen Street between 7am and 4pm.
Temporary inconveniences experienced during the delivery of this work may include and are not limited to:
• Limited access for through traffic during hours of work
• Noise and dust from the roadworks
• Equipment and materials left on the roadway or footpath during the project
• Staff arriving to service equipment up to one hour earlier than start time
• No street parking in the work zone of road works during construction hours
Council is resurfacing the roadway to improve the amenity and safety of the street and our community.
Parking within the work zone during construction hours will result in Council having to return at a later date to patch the affected areas once the vehicle or obstruction has been removed. Your assistance by not parking on the roadway within the work zone marked in ‘yellow’ during construction hours is welcomed.
